MICROSCOPY AT THE BIOP
Microscopy Training
To get access to the instruments of the PT-BIOp the future light-microscopy user has to fill out a microscopy request form which can be found under the following link:
This will be sent to both the PT-BIOp staff and your group leader, who needs to validate this request.
After validation, a meeting with a PT-BIOp staff member (usually Arne Seitz the head of the PT-BIOP) is obligatory in order to discuss the scientific needs in details. Therefore the user will receive an email suggesting a date usually at the latest one week after the form was filled out.
It is also possible to pass by in room AI0241 and make an appointment directly. Throughout the discussion it will be defined which microscopes to use and whom you should contact for the training session.
In Summary:
- Request Form
- Discussion
- Appointement for training
- Training
Please stick to this workflow as it turned out to be very efficient for the potential users and the PT-BIOp staff as well.
