bioimaging and optics platform BIOP

Microscopy Training

One of the main activities of the BIOP is to train users on our wide range of microscopes, so that they can operate the machines independently. You can find more information on our Microscopy Page. The typical steps to obtain a training are:

  • Request Form
  • Discussion
  • Appointement for training
  • Training

We charge hourly fees for the use of our microscopes and PCs. To be able to book, you must have had a training on one of our systems.

Microscope Fees

Computer Fees

* Please note that the fees on the tables above correspond to the interal EPFL fees. Please contact us for External Academic and Industry fees.

We offer internal and PhD courses on the subject of light microscopy.
Please check our "Courses" Tab on the top of this page.
